Bob Chrisman Award
In 2011, the teaching staff instituted this award in honor of former Superintendent Bob Chrisman to encourage student involvement in community service. While Mr. Chrisman was at Lakeside, he brought with him his enthusiasm for serving not only the Lakeside Community but the broader Los Gatos Community as well
We believe that community service benefits not only the recipient of the service but also the student providing the service.

This award is open to all Lakeside Joint School District Students- kindergarten through eighth grade. To be eligible for this award, your student must provide a beneficial service to a community or a community organization. Some examples could be the Town of Los Gatos, City of San Jose, beach cleanup, volunteer for an animal shelter, soup kitchen, or church activity.

We hope to inspire all students to find a way to provide a beneficial service and provide that service over the summer. The Bob Chrisman Student Community Service Award is an annual award and the winners of this award will have their name engraved on a plaque that is on permanent display in the front office. The nomination form is attached. Please print it out and help your student complete it and return it to the office.
